Thermocouple/RTDThermocouples generate a voltage directly dependent on temperature. They are particularly suited for high temperatures up to 1,700 °C. Instrument designs from mineral-insulated sheathed cable are very resistant against extremely high vibration loads (depending on instrument model, sensor element and wetted materials). For thermocouples, the accuracy classes 1 and 2 apply (standard and special). They are available with a tolerance value in accordance with IEC 60581 / ASTM E230. Data Sheet (Click to download) : 1. TC10-A (Click to download datasheet) Applications
DescriptionThe measuring inserts per DIN 43735 for resistance thermometers described here are designed for installation in a protective fitting. Operation without thermowell is only recommended in certain applications. The measuring insert is made of a bendable mineral-insulated sheathed cable. The thermocouple is located at the tip of the measuring insert. The measuring inserts are delivered with pressure springs to ensure that the measuring inserts are pressed down to the thermowell bottom.
Applications
DescriptionThermocouples of this series are designed for screw-fitting directly into the process, mainly in vessels and pipelines. These thermometers are suitable for liquid and gaseous media under moderate mechanical load and normal chemical conditions. The model TW35 protection tube from stainless steel is fully welded and screwed into the connection head. The interchangeable measuring insert can be removed without taking out the complete sensor from the plant.
Applications
DescriptionThermocouples of this series are designed for fitting into vessels and pipelines. Standard flanges to DIN EN or ASME are available. These temperature sensors are suitable for liquid and gaseous media under moderate mechanical load. The model TW40 protection tube is all welded and screwed into the connection head. Stainless steel protection tubes are suitable for normal chemical conditions. Coating is recommended as an optional extra with chemically aggressive media, or solid wear-resistant coating for abrasive media.
